Plan For Success and Peace of Mind
Ever sat down with the best of intentions, a fresh to-do list, your coffee in handโand then suddenly it's 5PM, your list is untouched, and you're wondering where the heck the day went?
Yeah. Been there. Many, many times.
But hereโs the thing, fellow soul leaderโyouโre not lazy, broken, or doomed to live in a vortex of open tabs and calendar chaos.
Youโre just using a system that doesnโt vibe with your energy, your goals, or your genius.
So, letโs flip that script.
Iโm about to show you how to plan your day in a way that actually worksโwith clarity, soul, and strategyโand yes, how to actually stick to it (no guilt, no drama, just real results).
1. Start With the Magic Question: What Actually Matters Today?
Before you plan a single thing, pause.
Ask yourself: Whatโs one thing that would make today feel wildly successful? Not ten things.
Not all the things. Just one.
Because when everything feels urgent, nothing gets done. Focus is your best friend. The goal isnโt to do moreโitโs to do what matters most and do it well.
So, zoom out. Look at the big picture. Then zoom in. Choose:
๐ One priority that moves your mission forward
๐ One admin thing you need off your plate
๐ One moment just for you (yes, YOU)
That's your Power of Three. Keep it simple, soulful, and sharp.
2. Time-Block Like a Creative Rebel (But Leave Wiggle Room)
Letโs be honestโrigid schedules suck the joy out of life.
But no plan at all?
Thatโs a recipe for overwhelm. Enter: flexible time-blocking.
Think of your day like a playlist. Youโre not stuck, but you do have a vibe and a flow.
Try this:
๐ Block your energy peaks for deep, focused work.
๐ Reserve your lower-energy dips for admin, emails, and snack breaks.
๐ Build in breathing roomโbecause life happens.
Use tools you actually like: Google Calendar, Notion, a sexy paper planner.
The tool doesnโt matter.
What matters is you feel in charge.
3. Stop Being a Task CollectorโBe a Task Finisher
Ever added something to your to-do list just to cross it off? Same.
But youโre not here to check boxes. Youโre here to create impact.
So donโt just make a list. Make decisions.
โ What will get done today?
โ What can wait?
โ What needs to be deleted, delegated, or outsourced?
And hereโs a truth bomb: not everything on your list deserves your energy.
Edit like a soul-led CEO. You donโt owe every idea your time.
4. Let Go, Delegate, and Stop Being the CEO of Everything
Letโs get real for a hot second: you are brilliantโbut you are not a one-person band.
If your to-do list reads like a company org chart, itโs time for a reality check. Youโre not here to micromanage your way into burnout.
Youโre here to lead, not control.
So, ask yourself:
๐ค Does this task absolutely need you to do it?
๐ค Is holding onto this creating resultsโor just control?
๐ค Who (or what) can help carry this without it falling apart?
Whether itโs asking for help, hiring a VA, automating the boring stuff, or just saying no, delegation is a giftโnot a weakness.
And guess what?
Releasing control doesn't mean lowering standards. It means creating space for you to shine where youโre meant to.
Your energy is sacred. Your time is non-refundable. Choose wisely.
5. Schedule the Fun Stuff First
Read that again. Yes, seriously.
If your day is packed with should(s) and have-to(s), no wonder your motivationโs hiding under the duvet.
So, flip the modelโprioritise joy.
Bookend your day with:
๐ค A walk that clears your head.
๐ค A playlist that makes you dance.
๐ค A ritual that reminds you who the heck you are.
Joy isn't optional. It's fuel. It's magic. Itโs the difference between burnout and flow.
6. Reflect, Reset, Repeat
At the end of the day, do a 5-minute check-in.
๐ What worked?
๐ What felt heavy?
๐ What do you want to carry forward?
No shame. No judgment. Just real talk with yourself. This is how you build momentum.
This is how you show up with power and presence every single day.
Planning your day isnโt about control. Itโs about alignment. Getting clear. Getting real.
And giving your goals the respect, they deserve.
Your Day. Your Power. Your Rules.
Hereโs the truth, soul leaderโplanning your day isnโt about fitting into someone elseโs version of productivity. Itโs about creating a rhythm that supports your energy, your mission, and your joy.
You donโt need a 47-step system or another colour-coded planner collecting dust. You just need clarity, intention, and a plan that feels like freedomโnot a prison sentence.
So today, choose your Power of Three. Block some time like you mean it. Protect your peace like itโs gold. And show up like your future depends on itโbecause it absolutely does.
Remember: youโre not here to be busyโyouโre here to be impactful.
What would change if you planned your day with intention and stuck to it like your future depends on itโbecause honestly, it does?
